Video Processor

Video Processor implements various functions of Image Signal Processing pipeline. Depending on the image source and required functionality, it can optionally include pixel defects correction, deBayer, automatic focus, exposure and white balance control, color space conversion, noise correction and special filtering, HDR recombining, OSD, zooming functions, etc.

Based on the required performance and a specific set of building blocks, the implementation may be based on a low-cost programmable device, System-on-Module, Application Processor or a Single-Board-Computer.

Current implementation has no analytics capabilities (such as face recognition and object detection/tracking), which can be separately licensed from 3rd parties if required by the customer.

Standard compression (H.264/265 and similar) is also out of the scope of this design. There is a special solution for video content broadcasting applications requiring bandwidth reduction, which uses a proprietary algorithm of noise-immune compression and error detection and correction.
